Mazda Kokoro Charity Race Debuts in Cancún for Social Cause

Cancún, QR. Mazda Cancún presented on January 29, 2026, the first edition of the Mazda Kokoro race, a sporting event with a social cause that aims to raise funds for women, girls, and boys in vulnerable situations served by the VIFAC Cancún association.

During the press conference, representatives from Mazda, VIFAC, and sponsors announced details of the Mazda Kokoro race, which will take place next Sunday, February 22, at 7:00 a.m. on the Malecón Tajamar.

Mazda Kokoro Race Expected to Gather 300 Runners in Cancún

Organizers reported that the Mazda Kokoro race will feature two categories: a 200-meter children’s race and a 5-kilometer adult race. They expect at least 300 runners to participate in this family-friendly event.

It was explained that the registration fee will be 300 pesos per participant, with the entire amount donated to VIFAC Cancún. Funds raised through the Mazda Kokoro race will be used to provide food parcels with non-perishable items and hygiene products for people in vulnerable conditions.

Additionally, it was announced that there will be awards for top finishers, as well as gifts provided by sponsors. The distribution of support kits is scheduled for February 21, as part of pre-race activities.
