Mexico's Cancún International Airport has been given the green light to expand its Terminal 4. Asur, the company overseeing the project, intends to double the terminal's size, increase aircraft positions, and construct a new 42-meter control tower.
This expansion forms a part of a five-year investment plan by Asur, with a significant portion of funds being allocated to the Cancún International Airport. The current terminal has reached its maximum capacity, making this expansion crucial to accommodate the steady increase in passengers and international flights.
