Cancún Airport Schedules 386 Flights as Aer Lingus Relaunches Dublin Route

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Cancún International Airport has scheduled 386 flight operations for Saturday, a day marked by the return of Aer Lingus’s direct Dublin-Cancún route after a six-month absence from the runway.

Airport operator ASUR (Aeropuertos del Sureste) said the 386 operations involve 29 airlines connecting Cancún with 18 domestic and 54 international destinations.

Of the total, 192 are arrivals — 65 domestic flights and 127 from abroad — while 194 are departures, split between 67 domestic and 127 international services.

Aer Lingus restores the only direct link to Ireland

The Irish carrier resumed its nonstop Dublin-Cancún service on Saturday and will operate three weekly frequencies until April 2027 using Airbus A330-300 aircraft, which can carry more than 300 passengers.

It is the only direct connection between Ireland and the Mexican Caribbean, and it offers an escape for travelers leaving behind the Irish winter at a destination long popular with Irish visitors.
