Cancún, Quintana Roo — A body was discovered wrapped in sheets and black plastic bags on the morning of May 6 in front of Colegio Hispano in Cancún’s Supermanzana 59. The victim, an unidentified man, showed visible signs of violence.
Residents Report Suspicious Bundle to Authorities
The body was found on Yaxcopoil Street, behind the former Comercial Mexicana. Local residents alerted emergency services after noticing a suspicious bundle on the sidewalk. Minutes later, Municipal Police officers arrived in three patrol vehicles and confirmed the presence of a deceased individual.
Preliminary reports suggest the body was dumped during the early hours of the morning. Authorities cordoned off the scene, and personnel from the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) began procedures for body removal and the opening of an investigation file.
As of now, the victim’s identity remains unknown, and no official information has been released regarding potential suspects. Investigators are continuing their inquiries to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
