Cancún, MX — The body of a man was discovered tied up and stuffed inside a bag on a dirt road near the Arco Vial in Cancún this afternoon.
The grim finding was reported around 6 p.m. by residents of the San Alfredo neighborhood, located in Region 242. Municipal Police and National Guard officers arrived at the scene to confirm the presence of the body before summoning personnel from the State Attorney General's Office.
Preliminary reports indicate the victim was a male with multiple signs of violence, including gunshot wounds. The body was found wrapped in plastic bags and bound at the hands and feet.
Forensic experts from the Prosecutor's Office processed the scene and later transported the remains to the Forensic Medical Service for further examination.
