In Cancun, a newborn baby was found abandoned in a public park. The child was discovered in the Supermanzana 308 neighborhood, near the intersection of Leona Vicario and Plutarco Elias Calles streets.
A young person playing in the park noticed a black backpack with the newborn inside. Upon making this discovery, they quickly alerted the local Civil Registry staff.
The authorities were promptly informed and Red Cross paramedics were dispatched to the scene. They assessed the baby boy and found his vital signs to be stable.
The Geavig Group, part of the Municipal Secretary of Citizen Security and Traffic of Benito Juárez, was notified of the incident. Working in coordination with other authorities, they initiated the process of safeguarding and protecting the infant. The investigation is ongoing as they continue to gather more information about the circumstances.
