El Principito Child Center Renovation Starts in Puerto Morelos

Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo — Renovation work has commenced at the Centro Asistencial para el Desarrollo Infantil (CADI) "El Principito," a prominent early childhood education facility in Puerto Morelos. The project, supported by the Fundación The Fives, aims to modernize the center’s infrastructure to provide a safer, more functional, and dignified environment for the children it serves.

A Commitment to Early Childhood Development

Puerto Morelos Mayor Blanca Merari Tziu Muñoz officially launched the renovation with a ceremonial groundbreaking. "We are working to give a new face to one of our most emblematic institutions, CADI 'El Principito,' thanks to the collaboration of allies like the Fundación The Fives," she stated.

The mayor emphasized that the improvements align with the municipal government’s commitment to enhancing early childhood and preschool education. "The first years of life are fundamental for the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of the children who attend this center," she added.

Tziu Muñoz also acknowledged the efforts of the educators, parents, and staff at CADI, praising their dedication to creating a nurturing environment for the children.
