Mérida, Yucatán — A Yucatán-based influencer and content creator, identified as C.C., has publicly stated that state authorities refused to process her case under the provisions of the Ley Olimpia. The young woman accused a former city council member from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) of allegedly disseminating intimate content of hers without consent through screenshots.
Allegations Against Former Official
The influencer, known online as "Mala desde Chica," creates adult-oriented content on the subscription platform OnlyFans. According to her complaint, former official Rudy Pacheco Aguilar allegedly accessed her content through a paid subscription, then took screenshots and shared them without authorization.
The complainant clarified that OnlyFans provides a personal, non-transferable link for subscribers, along with mechanisms that notify creators when screenshots are taken. Despite this, she has been unable to officially prove that Pacheco Aguilar was responsible for the leak.
Authorities Reject Case Under Ley Olimpia
The influencer sought legal protection under the Ley Olimpia, which penalizes the non-consensual distribution of intimate material, even if originally shared in private contexts. However, authorities dismissed her request, arguing that she had initially shared the content herself.
As of now, Pacheco Aguilar has not publicly responded to the allegations. Meanwhile, the influencer continues to share her case on social media to raise awareness and demand justice.
The situation has sparked widespread debate among the public regarding digital privacy and the enforcement of laws protecting individuals from non-consensual content sharing.
