Mérida, Yucatán — During the traffic operation established by the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP) for Christmas, surveillance and control checkpoints, as well as speed reducers, were installed on avenues in Mérida, the Periférico ring road, and state highways, with the objective of preventing traffic accidents.
