A woman, now known as “Lady Beach”, has caused a stir on social media after she was filmed attempting to evict tourists from a public beach in Isla Blanca, just north of Cancún. The woman, who appears to be American, aggressively insisted that the visitors were trespassing on her property.
The video shows the woman demanding that the tourists leave the area. In response, they asked her to provide proof of ownership for the beach. However, she continued to assert her claim without providing any evidence.
Throughout the altercation, “Lady Beach” switched between English and Spanish, using offensive language. When one tourist suggested that she calm down, she responded with further insults, escalating the situation.
This incident has sparked significant debate on social media. Many users have expressed their outrage, calling for authorities to intervene and prevent similar situations in the future.
Several social media users pointed out that the beaches in Isla Blanca are public and no individual can claim exclusive use. This incident has highlighted the need for increased oversight and regulation of beaches in Quintana Roo to ensure that both tourists and residents can enjoy these spaces without fear of harassment or eviction.
This is not the first time that foreigners have attempted to claim public beaches as their own, causing tension among the local community and visitors. Although authorities have not yet officially commented on this incident, the video continues to circulate widely on social media, attracting thousands of comments and shares.
