Chetumal, Quintana Roo — The National Weather Service (SMN) forecasts partly cloudy to clear skies with temperatures ranging from 23°C to 30°C for Quintana Roo on Saturday, with minimum temperatures around 22°C.

For the broader Yucatan Peninsula, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies throughout the day with no rain expected. The morning will bring cool conditions with possible fog banks, while the afternoon will be warm. Winds from the south are expected at 20 to 30 km/h, with gusts reaching 40 to 60 km/h across the peninsula.

Across the rest of Mexico, a high-pressure system in the mid-levels of the atmosphere will maintain a low probability of rain and warm to hot afternoon conditions. Maximum temperatures are forecast to exceed 30°C in 26 of the country’s states.

Cold front number 34 will move across northern and northeastern Mexico. Associated with an upper-level trough and polar and subtropical jet streams, it is expected to bring cooler temperatures and strong winds with possible dust storms in those regions.
