Cancún, Mexico — Two motorcycles were severely damaged in a head-on collision while their riders were traveling at high speed in the Tres Reyes neighborhood.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. today. Residents of the Third Section of the aforementioned neighborhood reported to the 911 emergency operators that two motorcyclists had been involved in a serious crash.
Upon the arrival of police officers and paramedics, the riders were found lying on the side of the avenue, writhing in pain. Paramedics promptly provided the injured men with first aid. Following treatment, the individuals were carefully loaded into an ambulance for transport to a hospital.
Witnesses informed authorities that one of the riders was traveling on the main avenue when the other emerged without caution from a side street, resulting in the collision.
Following the investigation, Transit officers ordered the removal of the motorcycles to a vehicle impound lot.
