Tulum, Quintana Roo — Boxer Emiliano López Valadez from Tulum has qualified for the national amateur boxing championship after winning the regional tournament final on March 29.

With this victory, López Valadez becomes the municipality’s only representative advancing to the next competitive stage, where he will face boxers from across Mexico.
