CANCÚN, Q. ROO — Sebastián Muñoz, president of the Quintana Roo Association of Bodybuilding and Fitness, has announced the details for the sixteenth edition of the Mr. Quintana Roo event. The competition, which began in 2010 with 16 competitors, will this year feature the participation of more than one hundred men and women vying for victory in their respective modalities and categories.
The Mr. Quintana Roo 2025 will be held for the fifteenth time in Cancún this coming Saturday, September 13, beginning at three in the afternoon at the Oasis Palm Hotel, located at kilometer four of the Kukulcán Boulevard. The event will see the presence of athletes from the municipalities of Chetumal, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Bacalar, Tulum, Puerto Morelos, and, of course, Benito Juárez.
The Mr. Quintana Roo will serve as the official qualifying event for the Clásico Mr. México. This applies to female competitors in the modalities of Bikini, Wellness, and Figura, as well as the categories of Principiantes (Beginners), Novatas (Novices), Clasificadas (Classified), Juvenil (Youth), and Máster (Masters). It will also serve as a qualifier for male competitors.
The champions of the Saturday event will receive trophies, commemorative medals, and diplomas, in addition to the possibility of representing the state of Quintana Roo at the premier national event for these disciplines.
Alfredo Muñoz Wanzeller, vice president of the Quintana Roo Association of Bodybuilding and Fitness, presented several athletes who will participate in the Mr. Quintana Roo 2025, including Raquel Ramos, Camila Granata, Iván Amaury, and Jorge Sánchez.
