Three Injured in Cancun Crash Between Mototaxi and Motorcycle

Cancun, Quintana Roo — A collision between a mototaxi and a motorcycle left three people injured Wednesday in Cancun’s Prado Norte neighborhood, authorities said.

The crash occurred in Region 260 of the city. Emergency services received a call to 911 and dispatched paramedics and transit police from Benito Juárez municipality to the scene.

Officials confirmed that a mototaxi and a motorcycle had collided, injuring a man and two women. Witnesses reported that the impact threw the victims onto the pavement.

Paramedics treated the injured at the scene and determined that all three required hospital transport due to the severity of their injuries.

Transit police have launched an investigation to determine responsibility and have removed both vehicles from the site.
