Six People Missing in Quintana Roo, Including Three Young Siblings

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Authorities in Quintana Roo are searching for six missing persons, including four minors, with three of the children being siblings from Isla Mujeres. Search bulletins have been activated for all individuals.

The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office has issued a search bulletin for 16-year-old Karen Nohemí Calzada Pérez, last seen on March 21, 2026, in Playa del Carmen. She is described as a Mexican national with light brown skin, a slim build, dark brown eyes, long dark brown wavy hair, 1.6 meters tall, and weighing 45 kilograms. She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and cream-colored sandals.

A search is also underway for 29-year-old Ángel Sánchez Sandoval, last seen on December 3, 2025, in Cancún, Benito Juárez municipality. He is described as a Mexican national with light brown skin, a robust build, dark brown eyes, short black curly hair, 1.74 meters tall, and weighing 90 kilograms. He has a scar on the right side of his forehead and a mole below the left side of his mouth. He was last seen wearing a black crew-neck t-shirt, black shorts, and black sneakers.

Authorities are searching for three siblings from Isla Mujeres, all believed to be potential victims of child abduction due to their ages.

  • Javier Arturo Martínez Pinto, 8, last seen March 16, 2026. He is described as a Mexican national with light brown skin, a slim build, short straight black hair, dark brown eyes, 1.35 meters tall, and weighing 35 kilograms. He has moles on his left cheek, above his upper left lip, and below his lower right lip.
  • Aarón Surem Martínez Pinto, 3, last seen March 16, 2026. He is described as a Mexican national with light brown skin, a slim build, short straight black hair, dark brown eyes, 1 meter tall, and weighing 18 kilograms. He has a mole on the left side of his back.
  • Aras Airam Martínez Pinto, 11, last seen March 16, 2026. She is described as a Mexican national with brown skin, a slim build, long wavy dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, 1.48 meters tall, and weighing 45 kilograms.

A search bulletin has also been activated for 27-year-old David Trejo Galván, last seen on March 19, 2026, in Cancún, Benito Juárez municipality. He is described as a Mexican national with light brown skin, a slim build, dark brown eyes, short black curly hair, 1.75 meters tall, and weighing 80 kilograms. He has a mole beside his right eyebrow and stretch-mark-like spots on his abdomen. He was last seen wearing a royal blue polo shirt, black Bermuda shorts, and red houndstooth sandals.
