Shocking Discovery: Decomposed Body Found in Bags Near Puerto Aventuras

A decomposed body, wrapped in black plastic bags, was discovered on a dirt road leading to the San Martín ranch near Puerto Aventuras. The unsettling find was made on Thursday morning, south of Solidaridad, close to the town hall.

Upon receiving a 911 call, authorities were dispatched to the area near the Sirenis hotel on federal highway 307. The location was approximately 100 meters towards the continental zone. Municipal Citizen Security was mobilized to the scene.

The body was reportedly in an advanced state of decomposition. As a result, the area was cordoned off, restricting both vehicular and pedestrian traffic, until representatives from the State General Prosecution Office could arrive.

While there are currently no further details regarding the circumstances of the individual's death, there are indications that the person may have been tortured. However, the final determination of the cause of death will be made by forensic experts and the authorities.
