Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Municipal President Estefanía Mercado has announced the arrival in Playa del Carmen of the Registration Drive for the Housing for Well-Being Program. This initiative is coordinated between the National Housing Commission (Conavi), the Secretariat of Well-Being of the Government of Mexico, and the Secretariat of Territorial, Urban, and Sustainable Development (Sedatu) of the Government of Quintana Roo.
From November 10 to 15, residents of Playa del Carmen can go to the Luis Donaldo Colosio Sports Unit, located on 30th Avenue North between 98th and 104th Streets North in the Luis Donaldo Colosio neighborhood, to complete their registration. The hours of operation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
"Thanks to the coordinated work between the three levels of government, we continue to promote actions that guarantee social justice and well-being. Having a dignified home should not be a privilege, but a right for everyone," emphasized the municipal president.
For registration, it is necessary to be of legal age, present a copy of a voter ID card (INE) and a Unique Population Registry Code (CURP), provide proof of address no older than three months, have an income of one to two minimum wages, not be a beneficiary of INFONAVIT or FOVISSSTE, and not own a home or have received previous housing support.
This drive is part of the efforts by the Government of Mexico and the Government of Quintana Roo to strengthen social housing policy, and it reflects the commitment of the Playa del Carmen Government to the construction of a more just, equitable, and humane municipality.
"We continue building well-being for everyone," concluded Estefanía Mercado.
