Cancún, Quintana Roo — A bus company in Cancún has denounced what it calls a deliberate attack on one of its vehicles, saying a private car intentionally struck a bus on Sunday morning along Luis Donaldo Colosio Boulevard near the C5 security complex.
In a public statement, Autobuses Del Valle clarified that while initial reports suggested a routine traffic incident, video evidence analysis revealed a private vehicle deliberately and accurately hit the bus.
The company described the act as vile, saying it seriously endangered the safety of both passengers and the driver.
As an organization that transports over 80,000 hotel industry workers daily in Quintana Roo, Del Valle emphasized it will not allow worker safety to be taken lightly.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, with the incident resulting only in material damage and traffic disruptions in the area.
The company confirmed it has filed a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities and demanded a thorough investigation to identify those responsible for the violent act and ensure the incident does not go unpunished.
