Quintana Roo Prosecutor Investigates Argentine Man for Allegedly Assaulting Teenager
Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into an Argentine citizen accused of assaulting a teenager in the Jesús Martínez Ross neighborhood, after the victim’s family filed a formal complaint.
According to the complaint, the minor was riding a motorcycle with his sister when he stopped because a dog crossed the road. The suspect, identified in the investigation as Francisco “N,” allegedly punched the teenager, causing injuries to his face and shoulder.
Family members called municipal police, who intervened and detained the suspect. The mother of the victim later ratified the complaint before the Public Ministry, accompanied by the State Victim Assistance Commission (CEAVEQROO).
The case is registered under file number FGE/QROO/FCP/06/591/2026 and investigation folder FGE/QROO/VFZC/UAT/06/321/2026, handled by the Early Attention Unit of the Southern Zone. Authorities have not confirmed whether the suspect has left the municipality or his current legal status.
