Felipe Carrillo Puerto, Quintana Roo — A pickup truck was completely destroyed by fire on Tuesday night in the Plan de Ayala neighborhood of Felipe Carrillo Puerto.
Emergency services received a 911 call reporting the fire on Calle 87, between 42 and 44, prompting firefighters to respond to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle engulfed in flames and immediately worked to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby areas.
Despite their efforts, the intensity of the blaze consumed the pickup truck entirely, resulting in a total loss.
Authorities have not yet determined if the incident is connected to recent acts of violence in the state. The State Prosecutor’s Office will conduct an investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
