Othón P. Blanco, Quintana Roo — Othón P. Blanco Mayor Yensunni Martínez has highlighted the tourism boost that Xul-Ha will receive with the upcoming community event Verano Xul-Ha 2025. The initiative was presented Wednesday by the municipal president, who invited locals and tourists alike to participate in the first edition of what she called “the freshest sports challenge of the year.”
The event will take place on August 15, 16, and 17 in the scenic town of Xul-Ha. Registrations are now open for individuals aged 18 and older, who must form teams of 25 to 30 members while ensuring gender parity. Competitions will include soccer, volleyball, relay races, kayaking, knowledge tests, artistic talent showcases, and tug-of-war.
The winning team will receive 30,000 pesos in cash, while the second and third-place teams will be awarded 20,000 pesos and 10,000 pesos, respectively.
