Local talent wows crowds at Feria del Carmen 2026

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Local musicians and dancers received a prolonged ovation on the fourth night of the Feria del Carmen 2026, as the free fair continues to draw families and tourists with its mix of entertainment, food, and over 35 free amusement rides.

The event, promoted by Mayor Estefanía Mercado, featured a lineup of local talent including singer Norma Zurita, Victor Adrian, and winners of the 2026 Got Talent competition organized by the DIF Playa del Carmen. Other performers included Diamantes del Carmen, Ritmo Latinos, the Ballet Folclórico of the Technological University of Playa del Carmen, Flash Dance Academy, trio Ecos del Mayab, Mariachi Femenil Azul Turquesa, and traditional artists Viridiana Mondragón, Bernardo Nieto, Jesse Reyeca, David Correa, Ona Méndez, and Manuel Bernal.

The evening closed with performances by Nativa Danza, Mariachi Crazy, and Yohanka, la Diosa Gitana de la Salsa, who kept the festive atmosphere going with a repertoire that had the crowd singing and dancing.

Throughout the day, families explored the fair’s pavilions, sampled regional and national cuisine, visited commercial spaces, and enjoyed free access to the amusement rides.

The fair continues through July 16 with a wide artistic, cultural, and recreational program. On Tuesday, July 14, Cachirula and Loojan will perform on the main stage, followed by Aleks Sintek on Wednesday, July 15.
