Woman Falls 3m in Tulum, Suffers Head Injury After Drinking

Tulum, Quintana Roo — A woman sustained a serious head injury after falling approximately three meters into her neighbor’s yard while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred late at night in the private street Lagartija in Puerto Aventuras, prompting an emergency response.

Emergency Response to Late-Night Fall

Paramedics were dispatched to the scene around 12:30 a.m. after neighbors reported the fall to emergency services. According to witnesses, the woman slipped from the staircase of her home and landed in the adjacent property’s patio. The impact caused a severe head wound that began bleeding profusely.

Authorities from the Secretary of Citizen Security arrived to assist, followed by a Civil Protection ambulance. Medical personnel provided immediate first aid before transporting the woman to a nearby hospital for further treatment due to the severity of her injury.
