Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo — The leader of Mexico’s Green Party (PVEM) in Quintana Roo, Renán Sánchez Tajonar, held direct meetings with party members, supporters, and residents in Puerto Aventuras and Cancún this week, emphasizing that the party’s project is built through grassroots engagement.
In Puerto Aventuras, Sánchez Tajonar visited with party members and supporters to listen directly to their concerns and proposals, stating that strengthening the Green Party happens by walking alongside families. He was accompanied by Fernando Muñoz, the Green Party coordinator for Playa del Carmen, with whom he reaffirmed the commitment to continue building the party’s local structure and maintaining close contact with citizens.
“Listening to our people is the foundation of everything. The best decisions are made when we know firsthand what families experience in their neighborhoods,” Sánchez Tajonar said.
During the meeting, he thanked those who continue to support a project that puts Quintana Roo families at the center. He specifically recognized host Yuliana Pérez for opening her home and helping to strengthen this collective effort.
Later in Cancún, Sánchez Tajonar held a meeting with local residents for a close dialogue where they shared experiences, needs, and proposals for improving their community.
“Every story we hear reminds us why work on the ground is so important. Real solutions are born when we walk alongside the people,” Sánchez Tajonar noted.
He thanked a woman named Rita for hosting them in her home and for the trust to continue building community well-being through unity and citizen participation.
