Governor Lezama Opens Mexican Caribbean Pavilion at 2025 Tianguis

Rosarito, Baja California — Governor Mara Lezama inaugurated the Mexican Caribbean Pavilion at the 2025 Tianguis Turístico de México, a prominent tourism trade fair. The pavilion, spanning 432 square meters in the Mundo Maya zone, showcases the 12 destinations of Quintana Roo.

A Showcase of Quintana Roo’s Tourism Offerings

Accompanied by Secretary of Tourism Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, municipal leaders, and Bernardo Cueto Riestra, head of the Quintana Roo Tourism Ministry (Sedetur), Governor Lezama cut the ribbon to mark the pavilion’s opening. The delegation from Quintana Roo highlighted the state’s attractions, drawing significant interest from tour operators, travel agents, and buyers attending the binational tourism event.

Lezama toured the exhibition stands representing Quintana Roo’s 12 destinations, engaging with visitors and holding meetings with tour operators, airline representatives, and major tourism industry stakeholders. She also presided over the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Playa del Carmen’s dedicated stand.

The pavilion underscores Quintana Roo’s prominence as a key player in Mexico’s tourism sector, reinforcing its appeal to international and domestic travelers alike.
