Four Arrested with Over 100 Doses of Suspected Marijuana in Cancún

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Police arrested four people in Cancún on suspicion of drug dealing after seizing more than 100 doses of what appeared to be marijuana.

Investigators from the State Prosecutor’s Office, working with Benito Juárez municipal police, caught the suspects red-handed during an operation in the Supermanzana 23 neighborhood at the intersection of Chaca Street and Tulum Avenue.

Authorities identified the detainees as Eulicer “N”, Leunan “N”, José Armando “N”, and Nery “N”.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, officers observed the suspects exchanging substances during an investigation, prompting them to intervene following protocol.

During a search, police seized over 100 doses of green, dry plant material resembling marijuana, along with cell phones.

The four suspects and the seized evidence were turned over to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Combating Drug Dealing, which will determine their legal status within the appropriate timeframe.
