Cancún, Quintana Roo — Cancún will transport visitors to the prehistoric era with the arrival of “Mundo de Dinosaurios,” an immersive show opening April 1 for a limited run. The production promises to captivate audiences of all ages with a blend of technology, performance art, and family entertainment.

Organizers presented the event at a press conference, revealing details of the 360-degree experience located on Xcaret Avenue at the corner with Kabah, next to the State Prosecutor’s Office. The venue will transform into a stage that takes attendees through different periods of the prehistoric era.

International performers bring high-quality production values to the show, which also features talent from around the world. The cast performs aerial and visual numbers that enhance the immersive experience.

Organizers emphasized the show’s unique identity, clarifying that “Mundo de Dinosaurios” is an original concept distinct from other dinosaur-themed productions. They described it as a pioneering show in this genre.

The production combines visual effects, narrative storytelling, and stage production to create an enveloping environment where dinosaurs come to life.

Ticket prices vary by seating zone, with affordable options for families and VIP packages available.

Showtimes run Monday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., with Friday and Saturday performances at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Sunday offers three shows at 12:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.
