Cancún, Mexico — The municipal government of Benito Juárez has announced the upcoming Expo Artesanos y Emprendedores, an event designed to showcase the work of local artisans. The exposition is scheduled to take place over several days in October.
Event Details and Schedule
The Expo Artesanos y Emprendedores will be held from Friday, October 3, through Sunday, October 5. The event will be located in Puerto Juárez, in front of Ultramar. Operating hours will be from 2:00 in the afternoon until 9:30 in the evening. Attendees can expect to see a wide variety of unique products, all crafted with creativity and dedication by the hands of Cancún's residents.
Municipal Government's Support for Local Artisans
Benito Juárez Municipal President, Ana Paty Peralta, is promoting the work of the municipality's artisans through various initiatives aimed at displaying their craft to both locals and tourists. The administration has stated its goal is to benefit and support local merchants and artisans by creating events that generate movement for the products they create.
“In Cancún, we promote culture and art because they are fundamental for the development of our children, and because through them we strengthen our Mexican traditions and our identity,” the Municipal President stated regarding the event, which will feature numerous artisans.
