CANCÚN, QRoo — The Tajamar Malecón will host the Chile Fair on September 13 and 14, a gastronomic event that will highlight dishes prepared with the emblematic spicy pepper of Mexican and Yucatán Peninsula cuisine.
Organized by the Circuito Gastronómico de la Península de Yucatán (Cigapey), the fair will bring together more than 50 exhibitors who will offer a wide variety of products, from salsas and moles to snacks and beverages, all featuring chili as the main ingredient.
Delmar Briceño, president of Cigapey, emphasized that attendees will be able to enjoy more than 100 products that showcase the richness and versatility of the chili in national gastronomy. The event aims not only to promote culinary culture but also to support local producers and entrepreneurs who innovate with this ingredient, highlighting its relevance in Mexico's gastronomic identity.
The Chile Fair promises to be a vibrant experience for lovers of spicy food, with activities that will include tastings, workshops, and cultural presentations in an event that combines flavor, tradition, and creativity.
