Cancún, Mexico — With the goal of strengthening family unity and social coexistence, Benito Juárez Municipal President Ana Paty Peralta has invited Cancún residents as well as national and international tourists to celebrate the New Year at Malecón Tajamar in a large party that will take place next Wednesday, December 31.
From the emblematic Malecón Tajamar, the Mayor highlighted that, for the second consecutive year, Cancún will bid farewell to the year in unity, with a special program that will begin at 9:00 PM, including live music, dancing, a drone show, and the traditional countdown to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026.
“Starting at 9:00 PM, we will have live music, a drone show, dancing, and the countdown to bid farewell to 2025,” expressed the Municipal President, noting that this celebration aims for families to enjoy a safe, joyful, and hopeful environment.
The festivities will extend until dawn, with the installation of tables and chairs for the comfort of attendees, who will be able to enjoy various recreational and musical activities in an outdoor setting with views of Laguna Nichupté.
Villa Cancún and Christmas Activities
As part of the New Year’s attraction at Malecón Tajamar, attendees will be able to visit “Villa Cancún, Sweet Christmas,” which will remain open until January 7, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
In this space, visitors can find Christmas villages, a Christmas tree, an artisan and entrepreneur pavilion, a gastronomic pavilion, a free train ride, a photo backdrop to capture memories, a fair with attractions for all ages, a free ecological track, as well as a varied artistic and cultural lineup.
Finally, municipal authorities informed that interested families can reserve tables in advance by sending a WhatsApp message to 998 894 9955, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, to enjoy the outdoor New Year’s celebration in one of Cancún’s most emblematic spaces.
