Cancún, Mexico — The city of Cancún will host a major international Pokémon GO event in late September, an initiative that combines urban exploration with tourism. For two days, attendees will have the opportunity to capture exclusive Pokémon and participate in social and cultural activities at various points throughout the city.

The event is part of a global tour that also includes cities such as Valencia, Amsterdam, Vancouver, and Bangkok, with the objective of promoting community, discovery, and local economic growth. Estimated participation for this edition exceeds 30,000 attendees, with more than 30 percent being foreign tourists, reflecting Cancún's relevance as a destination for tourism and international events.
