Cancún, Quintana Roo — Plaza de Toros Cancun has issued an official statement denying two concerts being promoted on social media and digital platforms, warning the public they could be fraudulent scams.
The venue administration clarified that neither “Lo que el seco no dijo Tour – Cancún,” promoted for April 12, 2026, nor a Julión Álvarez concert in Cancún, promoted for March 6, 2026, have authorization or are part of its official schedule.
The company emphasized that neither show has a contract, scheduling, or endorsement from Plaza de Toros Cancun. It warned that using its commercial name, image, logo, or references to its facilities to promote these events was done without consent and could lead to civil and/or criminal legal action for possible trademark rights violations.
Additionally, the bullring alerted that promoting, marketing, or selling tickets related to these concerts could be considered fraud. It urged the public not to be deceived and to always verify information before making any purchases.
Plaza de Toros Cancun reiterated that its official event schedule is only disseminated through its official channels, including its website www.plazadetoroscancun.com.mx, verified social media accounts, and statements sent directly to accredited media outlets. Any information not from these sources should be considered unofficial.
