Cancún, Mexico — The body of a man was discovered hanging from a handrail in a park located in the Supermanzana 62 neighborhood, just meters from Chichén Itzá Avenue in Cancún. Residents of Block 04 reported the grim finding around 2:30 a.m., prompting a rapid response from police and Red Cross paramedics, who confirmed the man showed no signs of life.
Details of the Discovery
According to unofficial reports, the deceased was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, and white sneakers. He was described as having a beard and mustache, light brown skin, an oval face, and wavy hair. While initial speculation suggests suicide, forensic experts will determine the official cause of death.
Authorities from the State Attorney General’s Office processed the scene and transported the body to the Forensic Medical Service for further examination.
