Tulum, Quintana Roo — Authorities carried out a raid on a home after obtaining a judicial order to enter the Guerra de Castas subdivision, following several arrests in the Tulum area.
In a coordinated operation, personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office, with support from the Mexican Army and Municipal Police, executed a judicial search warrant at a residence located on Sagitario Poniente Street, between Escorpión and Cobá Avenue, in the Guerra de Castas subdivision.
The action stems from recent investigations and previous arrests in the area.
During the raid, authorities seized various doses of illicit substances, which were made available to the corresponding agencies for analysis and legal processing.
Additionally, the home was secured, as it is presumed to have been used as a safe house by a criminal group operating in the municipal seat. Investigations continue to clarify the connection between the home and criminal activities in the area.
