The Elite 16 Beach Volleyball World Tour in Playa del Carmen came to a thrilling conclusion after five days of intense competition. The tournament, set against the stunning backdrop of the Caribbean Sea, was a resounding success, largely thanks to the efforts of Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa. Ultimately, the Brazilian women's team and the Cuban men's team emerged as the champions.
In the women's final, the Brazilian duo of Carolina Solberg Salgado and Rebeca Barbosa Silva demonstrated exceptional talent. They triumphed over the American team of Teresa Cannon and Megan Kraft in two straight sets (2-0), securing their championship title.
