25 Projects Nearing Completion in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Mexico – A total of 25 works and 11 actions are either completed or about to be delivered in the coming weeks to close the 2025 fiscal year.

This was announced by Rolando Mario Méndez Navarro, Secretary of Planning and Evaluation in Playa del Carmen, who stated they are closing with 521 million 931 thousand 459.76 pesos, a sum of fiscal resources, the Municipal Social Infrastructure Fund (FAISMUN), and the Municipal Strengthening Contributions Fund (FORTAMUN).

In an interview, the official detailed that nine works were done with fiscal resources, five with FORTAMUN, and 11 works with FAISMUN resources.

He highlighted among the delivered works the rehabilitation of roads in Puerto Aventuras, with an investment exceeding 23 million pesos, and the repaving of Mayapan Avenue, Chemuyil Avenue, and Zapote Street, with 9 million pesos, within the Road Recovery Program.

He said this represents the closure of the 2025 exercise, so they will proceed to reinstalling the Coplademun, awaiting the publication of federal resources, and thus analyze the works to be executed this year.
