The Fornelos Wake Yucatan team showcased their exceptional talent at the recent National Wakeboard Championship in Playa del Carmen. Despite the intense competition, the team managed to secure top positions in several categories, demonstrating their skill and commitment to this extreme sport.
In the Under 11 category, young Antonio Castro Ortega clinched first place, impressing spectators with his promising wakeboarding skills. Meanwhile, Matías Lübcke won the Under 18 category, stunning the crowd with his precise and stylish performance. Luca Zonana secured the second spot in this category.
In the masters category, Carlos Diez emerged victorious, leveraging his extensive experience. In the veterans category, "Pato" Medina claimed the top spot, with "Cho" Salas finishing in third place.
The Junior Ladies category saw Luna Salas and Sandy Estudillo representing the Yucatan team, both of whom put up remarkable performances.
