Tulum, Quintana Roo — Residents of the Harmony-Holistika neighborhood in Tulum have issued a community alert after spotting a man acting suspiciously near homes, following a series of break-ins over the past two months.

According to witness accounts, the individual was seen walking behind several houses and appeared to be inspecting properties. The sighting came shortly after a neighbor reported a home invasion, the latest in a string of similar incidents in the area.

“Anyone living in the Harmony-Holistika area should be on alert. We saw this guy walking behind the houses and watching them; that same day our neighbor reported a break-in. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened in the last two months,” residents said in a message circulated among neighbors.

In response, residents are urging each other to stay vigilant, secure their homes, and report any suspicious activity to authorities. They are also calling for increased police patrols in the area to prevent further crimes.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorities have not released details of any investigation.
