Tulum, Quintana Roo — Governor Mara Lezama has announced a series of events and activities designed to promote the beauty and culture of Tulum, a tourist destination expecting to receive thousands of visitors this year. The announcement was made during her regular morning press conference from Jaguar Park.

Governor Lezama emphasized the government's commitment to the openness and accessibility of beaches, highlighting free and unrestricted access to several of the region's most beautiful shores.

"Playa El Faro, Playa Santa Fe, Playa Pescadores, Playa Maya, and Playa Mangle are just some of the options that visitors will have; they are invited to enjoy these wonders of nature with family or friends," the governor stated.

The opening of these beaches, which takes place every day of the year, aims to foster a culture of well-being and community, while simultaneously guaranteeing the preservation of the natural environment.

Mara Lezama also highlighted the importance of collaboration between different levels of government and the various secretariats involved in promoting tourism and security.

"We are working hand in hand with the Secretary of Tourism, the Secretary of Citizen Security, and many other departments to ensure that Tulum remains an attractive and safe tourist destination," she affirmed.

Regarding the event schedule, the governor announced the hosting of a professional PGA Tour golf tournament, as well as yoga festivals, a film festival, and the highly anticipated Art With Me Festival. Internationally renowned performers such as David Guetta and Santana will also perform in the destination, contributing to the cultural dynamism of the area.

One of the most notable events is the Tulumer Show, part of the Mexico Aerospace Fair, which will be held at the Tulum airport and is expected to attract more than twenty thousand attendees.

Lezama stressed that these initiatives are the result of carefully listening to the needs and requests of the population.

"The people guide us; our goal is to ensure that access to beaches and culture is a right and not a privilege," she said.

With a clear focus on shared prosperity and touristic success, the governor concluded her message by inviting everyone to experience the hospitality and beauty of Tulum.

"Come and enjoy our wonderful people and our beaches; you will always be welcomed here with open arms," she concluded.

The season of events in Tulum promises to reflect the government's commitment to sustained development and social inclusion.
