Playa del Carmen, Mexico — The Quintana Roo State Attorney General's Office has confirmed that the disappearance and subsequent execution of three individuals in Playa del Carmen are being investigated as part of a drug trafficking-related dispute. Authorities have identified the victims and stated that the perpetrators are known and will soon face justice.

Victims and Investigation Details

The missing persons, reported on July 17 and 18, have been identified as Saúl "N," Saddan Alexis "N," and David "N." Saúl and Saddan Alexis were later found dead, while David remains missing, with search efforts ongoing.

During field investigations, a third body was discovered, identified as Jesús "N," who had not been reported missing. All recovered bodies have been formally identified and returned to their families in accordance with legal protocols.

Drug Trafficking Connection

Preliminary findings indicate that Saúl "N" and Saddan Alexis "N" were allegedly involved in the sale and distribution of drugs in the Riviera Maya tourist corridor. Investigators believe their disappearance and subsequent killings may be linked to rival criminal groups.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, the three victims were lured to a supposed meeting, after which they were abducted and murdered by members of a rival drug trafficking organization.

Authorities’ Commitment

The State Attorney General’s Office reiterated its commitment to resolving the case with "rigor, objectivity, and adherence to the law." No further details regarding the suspects or arrests have been disclosed at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to locate David "N" and bring those responsible to justice.
