Cancún, Quintana Roo — Mexican authorities arrested a suspected drug dealer during a raid on a home in Cancún’s upscale Supermanzana 11 district, the state prosecutor’s office announced.
The suspect, identified as Andrés “N”, was detained during a court-authorized search of a residence on Avenida Contoy. The operation was carried out by officers from the Mexican Army, the Navy and the National Guard as part of an investigation into street-level drug dealing.
During the search, agents found:
- Green, dry plant material consistent with marijuana
- White powder consistent with cocaine
- Pink powder
- Digital gram scales
The suspect was turned over to prosecutors. Evidence was handed to the specialized unit for drug-dealing offenses, and the property was sealed. Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
