Playa del Carmen — The Rotary Club of Playa del Carmen has announced the event "Con Huevos al Asador," a cause-driven gathering aimed at promoting men's health and raising awareness about the prevention of prostate cancer and responsible family planning.

The activity will take place on November 22, starting at 6:00 p.m., at a garden restaurant located on Avenida 125 and Constituyentes. The event will feature grilled meats in a family-friendly and social atmosphere, with the objective of raising funds and providing free medical services to the community.

Nicolas Solís, President of the Rotary Club, explained that during the event, free prostate cancer detection tests will be conducted through prostate-specific antigen (PSA) tests, alongside a campaign for no-cost vasectomies. These actions seek to break down taboos and encourage men to take responsibility for their health.

The Rotary leader emphasized that this type of initiative is necessary, as men continually postpone their medical care. "We always put it off, which is why we want to put all our effort into this and take our health seriously," he stated.

Furthermore, the Rotary Club plans to extend more medical outreach events and partnerships with local laboratories throughout the entire month to maintain free testing and continue promoting a culture of prevention.
