A dispute between a crime reporter and a National Guard officer was captured on video last Thursday evening in Cancún's superblock 95, amidst a series of local raids. The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m., as the journalist attempted to approach the scene to report on the situation.

Despite the lack of a marked perimeter, a National Guard officer aggressively intercepted the reporter, denying him access to the scene. The video captures the moment when the reporter questions the restriction, arguing that without a visible boundary, he has the right to approach.

Finding himself without a counter-argument, the officer began filming the journalist, accusing him of assault. The situation escalated when the officer told the reporter that he was "giving him a chance" to do his job. This comment incensed the reporter, who responded with indignation, "What are you giving me?".

In an attempt to deescalate the situation, the officer stepped back and allowed another colleague to intervene. The second officer tried to defuse the tension. Shortly after, a ministerial agent arrived and reminded everyone present that, as per protocol, the area should have been cordoned off with yellow tape to prevent such conflicts.

Following the altercation, the situation returned to normal, and the reporter resumed his coverage of the raids in Cancún.
