Cancún, Quintana Roo — The state government, through the Institute of Culture and Arts, has opened applications for artists interested in joining the official program of the 2026 Caribbean Culture Festival, one of the region’s most significant cultural celebrations.
The call is open to solo performers, musical groups, and dance companies from Quintana Roo or any other state in Mexico. Selected acts will take part in the festival’s artistic lineup, which aims to promote creative work, foster cultural exchange, and bring the country’s musical and dance diversity to local audiences.
Applicants must submit their proposals by Aug. 21. Full details are available on the institute’s official social media channels, where the application form can be accessed through a QR code included in the announcement.
Organizers say the festival offers a valuable opportunity for both emerging and established artists to expand their audiences and participate in a celebration of the cultural heritage of the Mexican Caribbean and the nation as a whole.
