Quintana Roo, a state in Mexico, has now gone five weeks without recording any new Covid-19 cases or related deaths. The Ministry of Health (Sesa) reports that from November 12 to 22, the total number of cases since 2020 has remained steady at 124,558. The total number of deaths due to the virus remains at 4,500, after a recent adjustment reduced one of the records.

In 2024, Quintana Roo has reported 110 positive Covid-19 cases and 11 deaths up to the last epidemiological week, which ended on November 22. Hospital occupancy rates in both the north and south zones are currently at 0.0%, with only one patient currently being monitored.

Vaccination efforts in the state have been significant, with 3,658,148 vaccines administered since January 2021. However, no new doses were recorded in the past week, despite the ongoing seasonal vaccination campaign. The data from this campaign has not yet been added to the registry.
