Cancún, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Education Department (SEQ) has distributed technological and pedagogical kits to preschool teachers to strengthen English language instruction for young children across the state.
The initiative aims to optimize the use of educational platforms and teaching materials through collaborative strategies that promote social development and active participation in English learning. It benefits schools incorporated into the Quintana Roo English Language Teaching Program and aligns with the state government’s broader education priorities.
During a distribution event at the Konex-Kanik kindergarten in Cancún, SEQ head Elda Xix Euán emphasized that investing in early childhood is key to building a better Quintana Roo. “Investing in our children is crucial for creating real opportunities from the earliest years of education,” she said.
Currently, 175 teachers participate in the program, serving more than 4,600 third-grade preschool students across various municipalities in Quintana Roo.
