Cancún, Quintana Roo — Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa led the placement of the first stone for the Instituto Tepeyac Campus Cancún, a new educational project representing a private investment of 220 million pesos aimed at strengthening high-level academic offerings in the northern part of the state.

In her address, the governor emphasized that Quintana Roo is advancing “on the right path” by promoting projects that foster education with values and a community vision. She highlighted the importance of reinforcing civic, ethical, and moral values in classrooms to contribute to peace and the reconstruction of the social fabric.

“Students come to learn history, biology, English, but it is also fundamental to reinforce values,” Lezama stated before administrators, business representatives, and invited authorities.

Jorge Anguiano Godínez, president of the Tepeyac Network, announced that this will be the second campus of the network in Quintana Roo and assured that they will work with passion and professionalism, under the conviction that education is a powerful tool to transform the world. He added that the new institute arrives to work in synergy with the Cancún community.

Juan José Errejón Alfaro, general director of Tierra y Armonía, explained that the construction will take place within the Kulkana development, an urban project growing in an orderly manner where the school will become a community pillar and driver of social integration.

The event was attended by Ana Paty Peralta de la Peña, municipal president of Benito Juárez; representatives of the Tepeyac Network, executives of Tierra y Armonía, educational and religious authorities, as well as those responsible for the new campus.
