Authorities in Quintana Roo search for missing persons

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Authorities in Quintana Roo have intensified search operations for 11 people reported missing across several municipalities, including five minors and a Czech citizen. The cases span disappearances from October 2013 to January 2026, with recent reports reactivating several files.

The State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Quintana Roo maintains active search records for the individuals, whose cases are registered in municipalities such as Benito Juárez (Cancún), Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, and Pucté. Among the missing are adolescents aged 13 to 17 and adults ranging from 28 to 73 years old, some with distinguishing features like tattoos, scars, or previous injuries.

Notable Cases

Prominent cases include that of Antonín Rybnikar, a 60-year-old Czech man last seen on January 12, 2026, in Cancún, and Luis Guillermo Poch Cabrera, 73, last seen in Puerto Morelos in October 2013, whose report was filed recently in January 2026.

The FGE has activated and updated official search records to facilitate locating the individuals. The agency urges the public to collaborate with any relevant information, guaranteeing confidentiality through official channels.

  • Michel Angely Sel Mazún, 17, last seen on January 18, 2026, in Cancún. Light-skinned, slim build, long black hair, wearing a white blouse and blue and white shorts.
  • Obed Abisai Ángeles Valencia, 28, missing since January 16, 2026, in Playa del Carmen. Light-skinned, medium build, with visible tattoos on arms and shoulder, wearing blue pants, a white t-shirt with a taxi union logo, and a black cap.
  • Graciela Rojas Quiroz, 32, last seen on December 18, 2025, in Cancún. Dark-skinned, curly black hair, slim build, missing her left ear. Clothing unknown.
  • Michelle Viviana Segovia Andrés, 29, missing since April 3, 2022, in Playa del Carmen. Light-skinned, wavy brown hair, with tattoos on arms and legs, including a scorpion and a Buddha on her back.
  • José Luis Pucheta Romero, 56, last seen on December 5, 2025, in Pucté. Light dark-skinned, short black hair, scars on ankle and nape, cysts on right foot, wearing a striped shirt, jeans, and black shoes.
  • Marco Augusto Hernández Jiménez, 16, missing since January 16, 2026, in Cancún. Light dark-skinned, straight black hair, wearing a green sweater, blue pants, and red flip-flops.
  • Christopher Arturo Sánchez Aguayo, 15, last seen on January 16, 2026, in Cancún. Light dark-skinned, slim build, wearing a black sweater with red sleeves, black pants with white lines, and blue flip-flops.
  • Isaías Parcell Parker, 13, missing since January 16, 2026, in Cancún. Light-skinned, straight brown hair, wearing a blue t-shirt and another long-sleeved gray one, black jeans, and red sneakers.
  • Elizabeth Sánchez Carrera, 15, last seen on January 8, 2026, in Cancún. Light dark-skinned, long hair dyed purple, with cuts on both arms. Clothing unknown.
  • Luis Guillermo Poch Cabrera, 73, last seen in Puerto Morelos in October 2013. Light-skinned, robust build, wavy black hair, 1.70 meters tall.

Search operations continue in a coordinated manner between security corporations and specialized agencies, aiming to locate the missing persons and update their files as new information is received.
