Strengthening Community Identity

Mayor Tziu Muñoz emphasized that the anniversary presents an opportunity to preserve the municipality’s historical memory.

“This anniversary is an opportunity to remember where we come from, recognize those who fought for the municipality’s creation, and set a historical precedent for future generations,” she said.

She added that the committee will work to strengthen community belonging and consolidate Puerto Morelos’s identity.
